Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair School of Advanced Computing (ASAC) is proud to announce fully-funded scholarships in an intensive 6-month course in software development followed by employment opportunities for young professionals seeking upskilling or reskilling to get quality employment opportunities in the market.
The intensive course (Bootcamp) is powered by Code Fellows academy in Seattle-US, one of the leading coding academies in the world.
Within one year, ASAC has graduated 127 students in the short intensive software development course. Up till date, 85% of our graduates got employed within three months of graduating. The scholarships are still open for candidates with a background/experience in software development looking to upskill or others with no programming backgrounds looking for a complete career shift.
What you need to be qualified:
- You are between 21 and 34 years old
- You have an intermediate level in English
- You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in any related field.
- You reside in Jordan (all refugees from all nationalities are welcome to apply)
- You are enthusiastic and passionate about learning new skills and starting/growing a career in tech.
*The scholarship is open to experienced professionals or university graduates. Hence, experience is not a must.
About the fund:
The scholarships are co-funded through a collaboration between Luminus for Social Development, the Ministry of Labour, the Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission, and the Qudra 2 programme, co-financed by the European Union, through the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian crisis, the EU Madad Fund, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
