Position:Cross-Cutting PFM Coordinator
Level of Effort: LTTA
Base of Operations: Amman, Jordan
Position reports to: Cross-Cutting PFM Reform Lead
Position Description:
The Cross-Cutting PFM Coordinator will support the Cross-cutting PFM Lead in implementing crosscutting activities in response to USAID and Jordanian Government needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support PFM reform objectives by cooperating and coordinating with team leads working on varied reform issues
- Initiate and engage in work on hot challenging issues such as COVID 19 effects on public finance and other exogenous challenges
- Support initiatives on gender responsive PFM process
- Support budget improvement initiatives, ROB, Cash management, progress on implementing accrual accounting , tax issues, internal audit, and capacity building at MOF
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in economics or related fields, master’s degree is preferable.
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Experience in wide range sectoral issues including public financial management
- Experience in government administration
- Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic environments and achieve development outcomes
- Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to take initiative and be proactive
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong English writing and speaking skills required
